Your city in the next game of Monopoly
I realize that patriotism for our Spanish-speaking countries is strong, not only when the national team plays a World Cup qualifying match. Earlier I published an article about “how to vote for natural wonders” and it has brought me a number of visits that I did not expect.
Well, the game known as "Monopoly", which we played one day and which in our language we call Monopoly, is about to release a world version, so they will choose the 20 most popular cities that will be chosen on February 29 of this year.
These are the 9 cities of our Spanish-speaking countries whereby you can vote, in total there are 68 cities around the world. You can vote for 10 cities, so I suggest Lisbon, in Portugal.
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Santiago, Chile
- Bogotá, Colombia
- Mexico City, Mexico
- Barcelona, Spain
- Madrid, Spain
- Caracas, Venezuela
For vote what you do is go choosing them from the right panel, and when you have your complete list you press the Vote button.
You can also suggest others, although in practice, the more cities a country has, the more likely it is that no one wins because of the dispersion of votes; In my opinion, it could be suggested Lima in Peru. These cities that are added additionally, two may be chosen in a vote on March 9 that will be only for the most nominated.
The site has to spend a few minutes, including a map with hyperlinks of the proposed cities, which by the way in large numbers are from Europe.
Although there are other cities in our area, such as the United States where there are many Spanish speakers, we recommend these to be in solidarity with our language and our Ibero-American environment.
Monopoly is the best-selling board game in the world, it is available in 103 countries and 37 languages; as popular as the Lego, although its story is shocking considering that it was an idea born in the depression of the United States. What better for your city to appear in the next version of this game.
I guide play
The Peruvians, and especially the people of Lima, are very honored by your suggestion, Don G!
Greetings from Lima Peru xD
the best city in Latin America is without a doubt its buildings, the streets are colonial, and the people are warm
