  1. Direct, microstation - Excel. No, unless you make a VBA app.
You can copy the text in excel and when you make it paste choose “linked” or “embed”. There are also applications like Flexitable that allow you some of that.

But the problem of doing searches from within microstation to the excel file that is outside does not exist as functionality.

With VBA development if possible, then you can make an ole connection between the dgn file and the excel table, being able to search under indexes, such as searching a map number found in the table, locating it, etc.

  2. Good, I would like to know if from the microstation, I can automatically search and select words or numbers from an Excel list (in which there are some 1000 elements), instead of searching them one by one in the microstation document.
    Thank you

  3. I do not believe directly to sat format. Actually you should save it in a format that recognizes SmartPlan, for example DWG, and then open it from that program.
Procedure, file - save as ...

  4. Good afternoon .. My greetings.

Very interesting the topics that they publish in its page.
I am writing to you to make the following query:
Can I export an 3D MicroStation V8i .dgn file to .sat extension directly ??? And if you can tell me how to do it, then that file with .sat extension will be used in SP3D (SmartPlan Modeling).

    Stay tuned to your comments.

    Regards,

  5. Hi Felipe, you should explain more to what you mean by getting a dgn for maintenance. Let's see if we can help you.

  6. I do not remember how to get a map dgn to send it in maintenance I do the whole procedure and I do not get

  7. I suppose it is an object, associated with two records in the database.

Well, export it to shape file, beyond PostGIS you call it.

With Geographics, File / Export / GIS
With Bentley Map, it's the same, just create a new export and choose to file shp

  8. Friend what I want to tell you is how I can do so that a line element of plots that has connected two records in the Access database can export it to postgis as shp format without losing the information of the records in such a way that in post gis with A click can display the rowset element record

  9. What you have to do is export them with the options:

    File / export / shp

In the same way as I explained in this post: when he was talking about how to import data from a shp to Microstation

  10. I need to know how I can transfer the dgn files in microstation geographic with a project to ArcGis shape format but with the information of the database (Access) in such a way that an element that is associated with two mslink can visualize it in the table of ArcGis attribute
