4 Problem: Acer Aspire One does not send to Datashow
In the case of computers Acer Aspire, the combination to send the screen view to a projector to an external monitor is in the combination Fn + F5. It can happen that they do not respond, and when you have 200 people in front of you, it is a big problem.
Let's see how to solve it.
If everything is in order
One of the main causes is that only the keys are pressed, in the style that would be done with any other laptop and we have the impression that nothing happens. Either other keys are being used, sometimes F5. The blue letters key must be pressed Fn, then F5, but do not release the function key until the floating menu appears allowing you to choose what to send to:
- The first icon means that it does not send anything, so doing so by releasing the Fn key does nothing.
- The second sends a second monitor, leaving the view on the laptop as well. The disadvantage of this option is that you cannot have a higher resolution than that supported by the laptop.
- The third one sends only to the external monitor. This is ideal, if you have an external monitor and you want to have higher resolutions not supported by the laptop.
- The room sends only to one projector, in a resolution of 800 × 600
If something has been unconfigured.
Usually it happens that a naughty one has decomposed something, generally to have touched the msconfig To seek to improve boot speed.
For this, we do:
Start> run> msconfig> accept
Here we go to the Home tab, and verify the QtZgAcer option. Activate it, then select Accept, The system will require a reboot.
Once the machine reboots then the problem should not exist again.
When we modify this, a message appears reminding us that we have touched the boot configuration. We must activate the option to not remember it again.
Other strange causes will have to see if the projector is not connected to the proper port (some are brought) or that it is half obsolete and requires restarting to recognize the machine.
It also often happens that the combination of the FN + F5 keys does not raise the tab to choose the shipment; It usually happens because the machine has been turned off and on after using a secondary monitor or when a third monitor such as the Ipad has been integrated with the Idisplay application. The way out is to right-click on the desktop and choose properties, then in the "settings" tab each monitor is selected and the "desktop sharing" option is deactivated, then accept.
Thanks a lot !!!! for the solution ... that was it !! the mischief of getting higher speed in the session start affected the projection system for data show
EXCELLENT!
