Spain's elections on Google Maps

Now you can see the vote count in real time and the seats by Autonomous Community, official results that will be updated every 10-15 minutes.

Not bad, they also promise that the results of all elections will be available from 1977, at least that's what the press release sent by Googlemaps Spain says.

Looking ahead to the general elections of the March 9, Google has prepared a mapplet (mini-application for Google Maps), with which the electoral results can be followed by Autonomous Communities and even by municipalities, if they have more than 50.000 inhabitants.

"This is another example of how Google Maps technology can be used to display and combine data and information relevant to users," he adds.

To access the data you have to access Google Maps (http://maps.google.es/) and click on the My Maps tab. Once inside you can see the Electoral Map application located within Featured Content.

In good time for our Hispanic community.
