Gmail integrates Audio-Video-chat
Google wants to own everything, among that everything intends that Gmail is the only alternative that integrates the basic functionalities for online communication.
He started integrating the chat, which despite being quite simplified is very effective since it works within the same Gmail window, with the option to save conversations, search on them and the best, without working on a separate channel, which becomes good for the navigator but bad for the proxy administrator because it is not possible to control the channel.
Now it has integrated an audio-video-chat functionality, quite similar to the one of chat that already existed… Which implies that if more Gmail is popularized, we could save ourselves from being dependent on Skype, messenger and mail although for this they will have to work hard because many "average" users do not like gmail.
They would also have to implement search and import functionalities from social networks.
To implement it, you must select the "Video chat" option in the upper tabs, download the installer, let it run and then re-enter the browser.
To use it, it is done in the contacts option, next to the chat ball is the video tab and more, there you can invite others to talk. If you do not have a webcam, it is possible to video chat in one way or only use the audio functionalities. Webcam users can be viewed with a different icon.
