Create a bearing box with AutoCAD Civil 3D
I remember talking about how long ago Do this with Softdesk, we also saw some juggling to do the reverse from Of a built table In Excel.
In this case I will do it with AutoCAD Civil 3D, which is the union of AutoCAD Map and AutoCAD Civil 3D. By the way, the environment is very Land style, so what we knew about CivilCAD is not very useful here.
In the left menu environment you can choose the functionalities, In this case I have enabled Civil 3D Complete to be able to see all the menus but it is possible to see different environments of topography, design, Geospatial etc.
I have this property, which I have raised in the field, now what I want is to create the picture of bearings and distances.
1. Create the parcel
For this we do "parcels / Create Parcel from Objects"
Then we select all the lines of the traverse (they are not like polyline)
Then the system displays a panel where you must choose the site, style, layers where the properties of the line and centroid and other bitter herbs will be stored ...
From here I select that automatically I put the labels (labels) to the segments.
Remove the option to delete the original polygon.
Then we do 0k, it should automatically be placed in a centroid where the plot area is contained.
2. Creating the Driving Chart
For this we do "Parcel / ad tables / line", which means to make the table of bearings and distances from the lines.
The panel that comes out asks the style that we will apply and if we want the table to be static or dynamic (change the agreement, the boundaries are changed)
Then just click where we want it.
3. Edit table style
The table style can be edited, right-click on the generated table and choosing "edit table style"
And here you can change the names of the table, headers, decimals in the length and format of angles.

I am in the same as Yasser, in the CNR in El Salvador I have the problem that I do not accept box of lines (L1, L2, etc) and what they require is a box that says of the point (P1 to P2, etc) I am working In that modification but I do not even get the witch. Could you help me?
Thank you for illustrating with this very good page, my question is that there are no manuals on how to use a total station, all are in scribb and you can not download them please thank you to upload it in a free place.
Hello Sirs.
With such good information any user of civil 3D, can create the table, thank you very much.
Now, in addition to creating the course and distance table I would like to learn how to create it with X, Y (UTM) coordinates, HAPPY YEAR 2011,
GREETINGS,
BRAULIO
Very good, it works for me, but to complete it, I would like to know how to edit the part of L1, L2… L7, to another format type 1-2, 2-3… 7-1, and also if the heading format could be changed to only Degrees and Minutes. I have tried many ways but it does not work out.
Thank you for your help.
