Cut a bite in 6 steps
I need to cut a bite out of a map, which contains texts, lines, shapes and gouges.
I need the bite to go to a separate file, but I keep the patterns of boring, not that I disintegrate.
At the same time I need to keep the layers and properties.
What I have is Microstation.
Let's see how to do it in 6 steps.
1. Choose the fence command
2 Define the type of object, so I tell the fence that it will be from an object, so I touch the circle
3 Define the type of cut, select "clip"
4 I select the command to send the fence to a file; for this the command "fence file" is written in the "key in"
5. Choose the destination of the file and the name, in the browser window that appears to me.
6. Click on the screen
Done, when I open the file it appears to me this way.
Ideas how to do it with AutoCAD? I understand that Trim would be used, but how do I choose to delete everything outside and send it to a separate file?
