Engineering in Surveying, available in Guatemala

Many countries have lagged behind in this field, despite having undergone different processes of modernization of land administration, generally supported by international cooperation projects. • Incorporate into society, professionals trained with technical and ethical rigor in the field of measurements, collection, data processing, spatial information management and analysis of results, for the determination of the shape and dimensions of the Earth and the application of policies of territorial planning.
• Promote the formation of reflexive, creative, autonomous and committed individuals with society.
• Develop reflection processes on disciplinary knowledge, both at the time of learning and at the time of teaching.

There is both a degree and postgraduate degree, it does not look bad, because graduates (supposedly) come out with training in areas of topography, cadastre, geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensors, geographic and geomatic information systems.
